The HTOP Planamar Hotel is on the maritime promenade in Malgrat de Mar between the areas of Calella and Blanes. It is just 50 metres from the beach and 3 minutes from the resort centre. Malgrat, a popular choice for holidays in Spain, has a lovely coarse sand beach and an interesting centre with many old and attractive buildings. All-inclusive guests staying at this hotel have free entrance to the Gran Palace Flamenco Show and the Castle Medieval night in the local area (transport for the medieval night is payable locally). Guests are also equally entitled to enjoy the facilities at all the other HTOP Group hotels with a shuttle bus service between the properties.

The hotel is typically styled, inside and out and it is just 200 metres from the entrance to the train station for those who want to travel further afield. The calm seas are perfect for all the water sports available, and the beach is quieter than in some of the main resorts in the area.

The hotel operates an All Inclusive programme which includes breakfast between 8am and 10am, lunch from 12.30pm to 2.45pm and dinner from 6.30pm to 9pm, all buffet style, served in the main restaurant. Snacks are available at the snack bar between 10am and midnight (except during meals hours). Kids can have ice cream from 10am to 6pm. Locally produced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are served from 10am to midnight at the bar. Guests have the possibility to order picnics instead of meals, with prior reservation, one day in advance (before 7pm).
